SXSWi 2008

I'm still in decompression mode from a week in Austin for SXSW, and have only given my notes a passing glance. The conference was massive this year, and I was able to make only a small percentage of the panels and events that I wanted to attend. Lots of things are still bubbling to the surface, so look for additional notes to come soon. Teaser: Kathy Sierra rocked, Kent Nichols ruled!

In the meantime, here are a few links to keep your mind fed:

SXSW Podcasts
At the link below you can find podcasts of many of the SXSW panels and workshops. This is great, because there were may too many that I wanted to attend but missed.

SXSW VIDEOS
There's already a site up that's hosting a busload of videos from SXSW. With all the cameras that were buzzing about, you're likely to even spot yourself on there.

Six-Word Reviews of 763 SXSW Mp3s
Paul Ford downloaded the SXSW 2008 torrent file which contained nearly 48 continuous hours of music from 763 acts that appeared at SXSW, and then reviewed each one. For brevity, he kept each to exactly six words. Check it out:

SXSW Sketchnotes
More of a visual person? You can capture some of the SXSW magic with Mike Rohde's Sketchnotes. While sitting in sessions and in between sessions, Mike created 34 artistic sketches he made in his Moleskin while at the conference. You can see all the sketches on Mike's blog here or on Flickr.
